Congrats! You've struck a good balance between preparing for the future and appreciating the present. It's nice to enjoy a paycheck by buying yourself something like a CD, but you're future-conscious enough not to blow it all. You're looking ahead without getting thrown by bumps in the road...and apprciating the journey, too.
