Ti-Ratana Orphanage Visit

"It doesn't take much to learn"
It was after all these studying (and i always end up dozing off instead) that I finally had a real meaningful outing today. Not that going shopping, trying on outfits, watching a movie or two on the big screens, and that late night coffee bean chat wasn't meaningful. But I just find it hard to make myself not feel guilty about taking a break from the books and papers.

I am just back from a visit to TiRatana Orphanage and would really like to stay a little longer there if not for an upcoming dinner I'll have in perhaps an hour. This little boy came out to greet us by holding our hands and say hello. I wish they'll all have a better home to live, it made me feel bad that people actually don't want their kids. We played some games with them, naturally they broke all the rules - that's what made it fun. I was helping out at Station 3 where the game is picking Red beans within a bowlful of red and green beans, with chopstick. Some kids didn't know how to hold a chopstick, so we played cheat and helped them out ;) I had a lot of fun, and some things they did made me wonder if it was me being them, would I have been so cheerful? And thinking of Ti Ratana makes me think of the camp I had two years back. It had been an awful lot of fun.

Then there was this supposedly discussion, we divided them into groups according to their age group. And all started rushing to get their autograph book instead, asked me to write a few words. There is this little girl who is so pretty, with big, round eyes and sweet smile - I wouldn't mind having a younger sister like her :] I had my share of fun, I felt happy they are happy, the things they said, and it made me laugh.

Last Saturday was nice too, if not meaningful :D After walking around the entire mall, Se Yin and I finally decided to watch Heroic Duo. Mom picked us up at about 23:15 and we killed the hour by another latte at Coffee Bean.

Plugs:Nadine, Jinny and KJ.
